The Tough Calls In Autoimmunity Submissions are closed.
We are pleased to invite clinical case submissions from residents, clinical practioners, faculty, Nursing and other allied health professionals for the upcoming session - Tough Calls in Autoimmunity. This session aims at challenging cases in autoimmunity to stimulate academic learning and generate consensus for treatment. The selected cases will serve as learning opportunities for participants to engage in interactive discussions and decision-making processes.!
Guidelines
- Clinical Summary :Provide a clear, concise summary of the clinical case, including patient demographics, presenting symptoms, the diagnostic approach, and key clinical findings. The summary should focus on the relevant aspects that define the complexity of the case (Word Limit: 200).
- Key Laboratory Investigations : Include essential laboratory data, imaging results, and other diagnostic findings that are critical to understanding the case. Highlight any significant abnormalities that contribute to the clinical challenges (Word Limit: 100).
- Primary Question that needs to be answered : Outline the central question posed by the case that needs to be addressed (Word Limit: 200)
Category of Submission :Indicate the autoimmune disorder the case pertains to-
- • Multiple Sclerosis Spectrum Disease (MSSD)
- • Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder (NMOSD)
- • Myelin Oligodendrocyte GlycoproteinAntibody Disease (MOGAD)
- • Autoimmune Encephalitis
Undertaking Rules for Submission :
- • The case submitted for presentation must not have been submitted as abstract for poster or plastform presentation in any other conference.
- • Conflict of Interest :All authors must declare that there is no conflict of interest, financial or otherwise, in relation to the case being submitted.
- • Patient Consent : A signed patient consent form must accompany the submission to ensure ethical compliance.
- • Patient Status :The patient should not be under active treatment at the time of case submission.
- •Data Anonymization :All personal information and identifying data must be anonymized to protect patient confidentiality.
Note : All clinical cases will be screeened for uniqueness. In the event of overlapping case scenarios, the most suitable case submitted earlier will be selected. The Clinical cases will be discussed at the end of various sessions. We encourage residents, clinicians, young researchers, and faculty to submit their cases for consideration.
